Lillie Boero

Architecture. Art. Design.

About

Lillie Boero is a student attending Washington University in St. Louis at the Sam Fox School of Architecture. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and minoring in Studio Art and Urban Design. After graduation, she plans to pursue her Master of Architecture degree.

In addition to her academic endeavors, Lillie’s architectural interests center around the overlap between architecture and urban design. She is motivated to participate in projects that aim to rehabilitate city communities; maintaining and improving neighborhoods instead of gentrifying them.  She sees this work as one of the primary ways architecture can be used as a discipline to help people. Lillie believes that at the center of every architectural project, it is people who are impacted by their engagement with that space. In this way, she considers human beings to be the protagonists of architecture.
